The ordinance of KPK PSC 1978 established the KP Public Service Commission (KPPSC). KPPSC is a government agency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that is in charge of recruiting civil servants for the province and civil posts in connection with provincial affairs in basic pay scales 16 and above or equivalent, as well as posts in basic pay scales 11 to 15 or equivalent specified in certain departments of the provincial government (except the District cadre posts).
